Take Zero

Where are my captures? In ~/Music/TakeZero/Captures, one folder per capture holding the WAV stems, a MIDI file and an MP3 mixdown. You can choose another folder under Settings → Recording.

Nothing is being recorded. Check the inputs selected under Settings → Recording, and that Take Zero is allowed under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

The system output records nothing. It only hears what's playing, and only once Take Zero is allowed under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording → System Audio Recording Only.

System output is silent. Recording what your Mac plays needs macOS 14.2 or later and permission under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.

My MIDI controller isn't recorded. Every connected MIDI port is recorded unless it's switched off under Settings → Recording. Ports plugged in while the app is running are picked up automatically.
